Best Firefox addons and web developer tools

I recently had to reinstall Windows and when I realized that I no longer have my job with extensions and plugins for Firefox I gave the old blog. Many friends ask me to that list yet, so I decided with some additions to a restore, tips and November addons that helped me to become so good with Firefox's friend

Next I will present a personal list of addons and applications dedicated Firefox web developers and web designers, tested and used me as a web designer for over 3 years.

Firefox Tools

The first and most important thing for me is to have the same layout, bookmarks, addons that work on all computers - timing is the mother of productivity (at home, on your notebook at work), and the best tool to port the full profile Add another one called MozBackup (besides Firefox is compatible with Thunderbird, Sunbird, SeaMonkey, Flock, Postbox, Spicebird, Songbird, Netscape, etc.)..

* It happens very rarely, but if ever a time in import addon sites will work properly (in most cases when the import is not a clean installation), we must seek and delete the file extensions.rdf the profile folder that you imported. (Location varies from one system to another ... Google it!)

Firefox addons

1. Xmarks - Best tool for synchronizing bookmarks on multiple systems. The old version called Foxmarks, I use successfully for years. Xmarks Downloads

3. Tab Control - A simple addon that allows you to control how we react deeper tabs in Firefox (for example, you can choose where it will open a new tab and such). Download Tab Control

4. Aging Tabs - An addon for maniacs like me who care very many tabs open in Firefox and forget to close them. Agingtabs color tabs from light gray to dark gray depending on how recent is the last time. Download Aging Tabs

5. Total Validator - is an All in one code from the HTML validator to check the spelling and links dead but has a visual function test sites on multiple types of systems and browsers for free. Download Total Validator

Web Developer - One of the best addons for web development that contains all possible functions, comes in the form of toolbars, has always been on the front page and mozilla addons does not make sense to continue with the description that are Firebug and WebDeveloper most used addons for developers around the world and best known. 7. Firebug - Addon site which I think should come with an integrated browser that is most vital for a developer. Make real-time editing of HTML, CSS, JS, debugging, etc.. Download Firebug

8. CssWiever - Very easy to use, once activated you can hover over any item from a page to see the CSS code applied to that item (a bit faster as firebug for simple items that do not have to wait to look in the code ) Download CssView * currently not published version 3.5 + FW

9. ViewSourceWith - Gives you a simple solution to choose which application to use for ViewSource (eg I use Notepad + +) ViewSourceWith Downloads

10. HighlightAll - You can highlight a page where a term is searched and how many times. HighlightAll Downloads

13. Palette Grabber - An addon that can detect and then exported in the format of a palette of photoshop any color scheme of a website. Download Palette Grabber

14. Pixel Perfect - For those who care a great deal of detail, this addon allows you to display an image from a web page with the layout. Download Pixel Perfect

15. Gridfox - For those who work with grids, it is much easier because you can do this directly in the browser from the website are working. Gridfox Downloads

15. YSlow - an addon to yahoo that you can use for testing and improving a site's loading speed. YSlow Downloads

29. Organize Status Bar - enables you to sort how you want the status bar, to add or remove items. Download Organize Status Bar

30. Screengrab - An addon that I use for screenshots from Web pages for options to capture only active surface or the whole site (ie if a site has 10000px you remove all elements in an image without browser). Very useful for web designers! Download Screengrab

32. FireFTP - An FTP client that runs in the browser and can be moved like any other tab. It's free and does not consume resources. Download FireFTP

Details:

* The list will be updated from version to version when I have time

* I installed all the addon sites above plus an average 20 tabs open all the time and Mozilla Firefox running absolutely flawlessly (on average consume about 300MB memory)
* The download links are for the version of the current date of installation - Firefox 3.5.7 (might change during the release sites)
* Not in any way guarantee their proper functioning and the effects they can have on your computer / firefox to your (I use all the addon sites at the moment and I encountered no problems)
* Do not despair if an addon will not work with a new version of Firefox, uninstall it but do not expect the update to appear on the new version, until then will remain disabled.
