We’ve seen bias and cultural faux pas in everything from soap dispensers and voice recognition to toys and research. Subashini (Suba) Nadarajah is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at VMLY&R. In this role, she is responsible for promoting and celebrating diversity to increase cultural literacy, awareness and acceptance within VMLY&R and through partnerships. Her passion for the subject led her to recently move into this new role, from VMLY&R director of design where she worked with client teams to provide design and branding counsel and inspiration.

Simeon Coker is a freelance Associate Creative Director, Social Venture Founder, and Podcaster. After working at some of the top ad agencies as a copywriter, Simeon co-founded the podcast 'Mixed Company' where he candidly discusses diversity, equity, and inclusion in creative industries with his cohosts and industry leaders. In 2015, he founded Indigo & Pyrite to help agencies create measurable and sustainable solutions that foster diversity, inclusion, retention and professional development.

Laura leads strategy for BAV Group, VMLY&R's brand analytics practice, and her mission is to fuel creativity with data using the world's largest and longest running study on brands. Her work has inspired many successful and award-winning creative campaigns for categories including financial services, technology, telecommunications, retail, CPG, and non-profits.

A passionate supporter for advancing inclusion and diversity in the workplace, Laura has been a featured speaker at SXSW, the 3% Conference, The Girls' Lounge, and Cannes Lions School. The future is female, at least in her house, where she and her husband Brian are raising two fierce little girls with lots of love (and snacks).

Jen joined AEO in August 2010 as Chief Merchandising Officer for the Aerie brand and has been an instrumental force in Aerie's successful expansion. In her current role as Aerie Global Brand President, Jen has set the strategic vision of the brand, started a body positivity movement in 2014 with the #AerieREAL campaign, and advocates for the empowerment of all our customers. Together with the Aerie team, Jen has led notable product innovation and growth of the Aerie collection.

Prior to joining AEO, Jen held merchandising positions for Bloomingdales, Gap Inc., J.Crew as Chief Merchandising Officer, and President of the global lifestyle brand, Calypso St. Barth.
