On Freedom and Risk

Speaker(s): Edel Rodriguez

Time: 12:00pm | Room: Parlor

How far are we willing to go to get to where we want to be? What are we willing to sacrifice? Is the goal worth the risk? Too often, we are quiet, we don’t speak up, and we do what’s expected of us— because we are afraid of the risks involved. However, every time we don’t share our point of view, a piece of us dies. Edel will be speaking about his family’s journey, how those events influenced his work today, and the power that art has to speak for a people when they are at a crossroads of history.
